This versatile road racer combines race-proven stiffness-to-weight ratio with aerodynamic tube design and system integration. From the road-ready Variant seatpost to the carbon wheel system, every part is designed to work better as a system. The new OverDrive Aero steerer tube technology is combined with the Contact SL AeroLight stem and Contact SL handlebars to provide new internal cable routing for easy adjustment and customization, while integrated disc brakes and generous tire clearance for tires up to 33 mm adapt the bike to all road conditions.
System-optimized
The frame, wheels, cockpit and other parts have been designed, developed and tested to work optimally as a system. The all-new OverDrive Aero steerer technology is combined with a Contact SL AeroLight stem and Contact SL handlebar to provide internal cable routing that integrates the top cap, cables and spacers in an aerodynamic, user-friendly setup.
Superb efficiency
Thanks to a better stiffness-to-weight ratio than the previous generation, the new shape of the aero tubes and a lower overall weight, this uncompromising road bike offers explosive acceleration and unyielding pedaling stiffness. The result is race-winning performance in the decisive moments.
Overall aerodynamics
All tube shapes were developed and designed using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) models and wind tunnel tests. From the truncated elliptical shape of the frame tubes to a new cockpit design and component integration, it all adds up to a sleeker profile that significantly improves aerodynamics compared to the previous generation.
