EFFICIENT MEETS SPIRITUAL
The VAM² SL is an E-MTB that makes you forget to switch on your motor. And you won't even notice it. It makes you ride faster than you actually intended. Your motivation grows with every single pedal stroke. And so does your performance. Because this trail bike offers massive propulsion and transforms every input directly into forward motion. Thanks to the combination of efficiency and intuitive handling, the VAM² SL can also be easily pedaled above the 25 km/h assistance limit that is standard for e-bikes.
Once you've reached the top, the fun on the downhill trail continues immediately. Thanks to plenty of downhill reserves, the VAM² SL gives you the confidence to ride really fast downhill too. The light-footed and agile character of the bike lets you ride in a different way than usual. You navigate your way through the trail in a sporty manner and ride full throttle into the next bend. And then take the speed from the berm into the next section.
The VAM² SL is not defined by a specific terrain. But it defines the way you ride. Direct and playful for more speed and fun on your ride. The best thing about it: you can do it again and again.
LIGHT AND SLIM FRAME DESIGN
For the VAM² SL 9.9, we have developed a Flex Pivot rear triangle that combines ideal flex behavior with a lightweight carbon layup. Thanks to the efficient yet playful bike character, you can accelerate your speed uphill to the maximum. Nevertheless, this E-MTB gives you the full confidence to ride really fast downhill thanks to plenty of downhill reserves. With our new Flex Pivot design, we were able to significantly reduce the frame material and the number of bearings and bolts. The result is our lightest E-MTB: the MAX carbon frame of the 9th series weighs just 2,172 g (size M, including linkage and bolts). It also gives the rear triangle its seamless look. The clean design of our VAM² SL 9.9 continues on the down tube: the fully integrated battery ensures a sleek look and further weight reduction.
PURPOSEFUL AND FUN TRAINING
The FAZUA Ride 60 makes you feel like your legs are having their best day. With 60 Nm of torque and a maximum power of 450 W, it gives you a boost and still offers a natural riding experience. You'll cover even more distance and ride more trails in the same amount of time. With the 125 mm suspension and direct handling of the VAM² SL 9.9, you will experience your home trails in a different way than usual. This E-MTB gives you a new riding experience that you might otherwise be more familiar with from pump tracks. You'll be surprised how far you can go with 430 Wh. Thanks to the efficiency and low weight of the VAM² SL 9.9, you can even pedal home with an empty battery if necessary. You can also get even more out of the FAZUA system by connecting it to your bike computer. This allows you to keep an eye on your cadence and power values for targeted training at all times.
INTEGRATION, BUT CORRECT
We have installed our new MTB One Piece SL cockpit on the VAM² SL 9.9. This stem/handlebar combination is made entirely of carbon and is as light as it is beautiful. It weighs 290 g and has a standard width of 800 mm, but can also be shortened to 760 mm. The virtual length is 50 mm, the rise 25 mm. The VAM² SL 9.9 cockpit can be equipped with a computer and action camera mount. This allows you to record your riding statistics as well as create lasting memories. To extend the service life of your VAM² SL 9.9 and protect the bearings even better, we have equipped the headset with two additional, integrated seals.
