Giro Privateer R HV 17 - black
Description
An elegant and sporty mountain bike shoe thought through to the last detail. Because fit, style and finish have been handled in the best Giro manner. The DuPont® Zytel™ polyamide sole is by far the stiffest nylon MTB sole on the market, which can easily take on many standard carbon soles. But also the upper shoe with the unique Giro fit makes the Privateer™ R a real secret favorite of off-road bikers. The best off-road grip is ensured by the nylon sole with rubber walking surface, exclusively developed by Giro and manufactured using the co-molded process.
Upper:
- High quality, breathable microfiber
- The different parts are welded and glued
- N-1 ratchet closure for perfect fit and optimal power transmission
- 2-way Velcro closure
- Offset D-ring eyelet of the top Velcro closure improves pressure distribution and eliminates pressure points
- Rubber reinforcements in high-wear areas such as toe cap
Outsole:
- DuPont® Zytel™ nylon
- 25% stiffer than traditional nylon soles for the same weight
- Co-molded nylon sole with rubber walking surface for best grip - thread for spikes/studs on the toe (2 each)
Footbed:
- Molded EVA footbed with medium arch support and Aegis® antibacterial fabric

"Der Schuh ist gut verarbeitet. Eine Nummer größer bestellt, passt. Die HV-Variante war die richtige Wahl, da mein Fuß etwas breiter ist. So ein bequemer Schuh, bei dem nicht das Gefühl aufkommt, dass er länger eingefahren werden muss. "
