Description
After the discontinuation of the Hope Race brake, here comes the successor, the new lightweight XC disc brake with carbon brake lever and titanium screws. For durability, this comes anodized and Hopetypically milled.
With the recent resurgence of shorter travel Trail/XC bikes, now is the perfect time to announce Hope's new XCR brake. It's lighter, more powerful, more ergonomic and has better lever feel than anything they've offered before. It's a lightweight brake without compromise, whether you're racing or hitting the trail.
The minimal radial master cylinder retains the simple bleeding process with its conventional reservoir, yet offers range adjustment and a new folding handlebar clamp for reduced weight and easy installation. New lever bushings provide reduced friction and super-smooth lever action, finished off with a carbon lever blade, with the brake only available in a silver anodized finish.
The brake is paired with a special version of the X2 caliper, which features aluminum pads and a slim, low-profile crimped connection. A conventional olive is retained at the lever end to allow for easy hose shortening.
