The insole with padded heel area offers comfort and protection while the robust upper material ensures durability of the shoe. Like all flat pedal models, the Seek Amp shoe also features the Pin Tonic concept: This is about the perfect combination of grip, protection and style, as all these features are important for a good bike shoe. The outsole has a positive profile in the toe and heel area, which provides grip when pushing or carrying the bike. In the middle area, however, there is a negative profile, which gives the pins enough surface for best grip. ION's Pin Tonic concept is based on the perfect blend of grip, protection and style. The outsole profile features a positive tread in the forefoot and heel area for the best grip when pushing or carrying the bike. The negative profile, on the other hand, offers the pins plenty of contact surface and thus contributes to a secure grip on the pedal. Moreover, the rubber compound offers additional grip. To ensure even more power transfer, the front toe area has a lowered shape to get maximum contact with the pedal. To round off this perfectly balanced shoe - ION has added additional protection features for contact with rocks and roots in the toe area of the crank in the ankle area.
