Description
Developing new shoe soles is a bit like constantly improving your favorite recipe. The basic recipe remains the same, only the ingredients are refined and tuned. Following the principle, one has further refined its flat pedal shoes with the optimal combination of grip, durability, applicability and style. The main ingredient, the Pin Tonic Sole Concept 2.0, has been further developed to meet the tastes of all riders. The new outsole has a positive profile in the front and rear areas, providing a firm grip when you push or carry your bike. The negative profile in the central area, on the other hand, provides perfect grip for the pins while riding. In addition, the rubber compound has undergone an update, with which it now brings even more grip with it. Since one should not forget despite innovations, the old proven ingredients, ION relies again on a comfortable midsole made of EVA and cozy insole. Since grip is not the only element for optimal power transmission, the Scrub Amp has a flatter profile in the toe area, which increases the contact with the pedal. ION has learned that it does not depend on grip in a good bike shoe and additionally relies on protection of the toes against stones and roots and the ankles thanks to Ankle_Pads and asymmetrical shaft. With the Scrub Amp you get a stylish Treter in the house (or on the foot), which thanks to its technical features can do far more than just look good.

ION Flat Pedal outsole with SupTraction_Rubbercompound Soul FL
ION's special Flat Pedal shoe sole offers you ultimate grip thanks to the sophisticated sole profile and the grippy rubber compound of SupTraction. The outsole profile has a positive profile in the forefoot and heel area for best grip when pushing or carrying the bike. The negative profile, on the other hand, provides plenty of surface area for the pins to attack and thus contributes to a secure grip on the pedal. In addition, the SUPTraction_rubber compound provides optimum grip.
