1 stem, for 2 handlebar diameters. The Black One D-2 stem builds on the success of our flagship Black One Enduro stem and offers the ability to ride both Ø31.8mm and Ø35mm handlebars with one stem.
The specially designed reducing sleeve allows you to use Ø31.8mm handlebars and when removed, you get a Ø35mm stem. The reducer sleeve provides a wide, smooth clamping area that is ideal for use with carbon handlebars.
The smart, spindle-locking design of the reducer sleeve allows you to use a Ø35mm stem.
The intelligent and gap-free clamping design in the lower area ensures that there are no pinch points or sharp edges and that the clamping forces are evenly distributed. This ensures safety and optimal technical conditions. After all, most of the stress and notch effects are always at the bottom of the handlebar. And our smooth, gap-free clamping surface extends the life of your handlebars.
The Black One D-2 is ideal for riders who like to use both Ø31.8mm & 35mm handlebars as an option, or perhaps want to upgrade to a new handlebar in the future without having to buy another stem.
Increasingly higher loads must be absorbed by the components, because the frequency of rides with an e-bike is significantly higher than without a motor. After-work laps that were completed once in the pre-e-bike era are now ridden three times with motor assistance. That's why the cockpits of modern e-bikes have to be able to withstand more than on conventional bikes.
With our E-Series stems, we've responded to this very development! The E-Black One D-2 stem was tested in the EFBE test lab according to the "EFBE EPAC MTB-GR Tri-Test", which is one of the toughest test procedures worldwide, and passed all stresses without any problems!
Tested in Germany, this stem can be built on any e-bike without hesitation and convinces with its design and stability!
