Bead Bite Technology
The Bead Bite technology is from the company Spank a patented technology that, improves the performance of tubeless rims tremendously. Simply put, the Bead Bite technology is a series of 6 ridges that run parallel to the sidewall of the rim. These ridges act as a kind of air seal on a tubeless tire when the tire bead is placed over it, thus reducing the risk of air escaping between the tire and the rim. Especially when used with a low tire pressure or higher load, this can prevent a puncture on a longer ride. Through this technology, the friction of the tire and the rim is also increased enormously, whereby the tire can not slip horizontally or vertically strong.
