Description
The B17 Narrow Imperial is another variation on our venerable B17 design, with a distinctive cut-out section on the top of the leather, first conceived and registered by Brooks over a century ago. In the JB Brooks & Co. catalogue, dated 1890, is a model called the B86 Imperial, with its unique cut-out section, it is described as the first model ever to reduce perenial pressure. Another unique feature of the B17 Narrow Imperial are the perforations on the sides, along the bottom edge of the leather, which are connected by a band. This also allows the saddle to be adjusted in width to maintain its shape for a long time.
