Description
With its undulating, 45 mm deep rim shape, the 353 NSW provides speed in all terrains with premium aerodynamic efficiency and crosswind stability. The 353 NSW is Zipp's lightest tubeless wheelset yet, making it a fast puncher ready to fight its way into the breakaway group. The use of hookless (straight) rims in the 353 NSW is a key part of "Making You Faster." With hookless, the transition between tire and rim is smoother and more aerodynamic. Zipp's hookless rims have more efficient resin distribution, resulting in lighter and stronger wheels. The Zipp 353 NSW's Sawtooth rim shape with Hyperfoils optimizes aerodynamic efficiency and crosswind stability. The Sawtooth design also allows the rim to be structurally strong yet light. This helps you accelerate out of corners and maintain speed regardless of the terrain, especially on short, punchy climbs. The Zipp 353 NSW employs the TSE (Total System Efficiency) approach for wheel design, overcoming specific speed barriers: wind resistance, gravity, rolling resistance, and vibration losses. The 25mm inner rim width is perfect for running wider, tubeless tires at reduced pressures. At the heart of the 353 NSW is the Cognition V2 hubset, revised with an updated Axial Clutch V2 mechanism for faster engagement, reduced friction, and improved durability.
