The ARO5 Race offers maximum breathability and has been specially developed for top performance on the road. The ARO5 Race has an aerodynamic and ventilated design that significantly increases air circulation via 19 ventilation openings. The ARO5 Race is lighter than its predecessor, the ARO5, and offers the necessary edge to overtake the competition. Combined with additional technical innovations in goggle integration, comfort and protection, the ARO5 Race is ready to set the pace.
Features:
- Fit: The BOA 360° fit system with adjustable dial ensures a particularly secure fit for maximum safety. The overall improved shell shape ensures that the ARO5 Race sits lower on the head and adapts more naturally to the contours of your head.
- Lightweight: The ARO5 Race is lighter than its predecessor, the ARO5, thanks to a redesigned shell and other internal changes.
- Protection: The Mips® Air protection system is a low-friction protective layer integrated into the helmet that reduces rotational movements of the head: It protects against the dangerous forces that could otherwise act on the rider's head.
- Ventilation: The ARO5 Race has new openings on the front and top, which significantly increase air circulation and breathability. There are a total of 19 ventilation openings in the upper, side and rear areas. Lining: The antimicrobial Ionic+™ lining is activated by perspiration and ensures a fresh feel and good odor control.
- Goggle storage: The ventilation openings at the front offer the rider a safe way to store their goggles. The Unobtainium® goggle temples keep the goggles in place, and cut-outs in the foam on the inside of the helmet prevent the temples from injuring the wearer's head in the event of an impact. This creates a simple and intuitive storage space for the rider's glasses. Design: The ARO5 Race features a trademark Iridium® coating that mirrors the Prizm™ lens colors of Oakley eyewear.
