Pressure-free seating comfort on fitness bikes, e-bikes or sporty tourers: for unadulterated riding pleasure even without cycling shorts, we have equipped this saddle with a particularly large seat, gel pads, orthopedic comfort foam and anatomical relief channel.
Optimized relief channel
The two comparison images of the pressure measurements vividly show why our SCF3 offers you significantly more comfort than a conventional fitness saddle. The large anatomical relief channel in the middle prevents pressure on the sensitive perineal and genital area. We optimized the shape and position of this channel with the help of many test riders and state-of-the-art pressure measurement techniques to prevent discomfort. In addition, gel pads integrated into the seat absorb your body weight and follow your natural movements when pedaling.
Anatomical gel pads
When cycling, most of your body weight rests on the small saddle area. To prevent discomfort in the extremely sensitive perineal and genital area, the pressure is distributed as evenly as possible over the sit bones. In the SFC3, the anatomical gel pads play an essential role: they provide you with additional comfort by following the natural movements of the sit bones, which alternately bear the body weight on the left and right while pedaling.
The right size
The shape and size of a saddle's seat must match the rider's sit-bone distance. Since the pelvic bones taper forward in a v-shape, the saddle must be able to provide a sufficiently large contact surface for the sit bones in different sitting positions. The saddle widths are selected so that the usable seat surface corresponds to the distance between the sit bones in each case. The more forward a rider sits, the further forward the sit bones touch the saddle.
