So minimiert Ergon Sitzprobleme
Beim Radfahren lastet der größte Teil deines Körpergewichts auf der kleinen Sattelfläche. Wird das Gewicht nicht gleichmäßig auf die Sitzknochen verlagert, entsteht Druck im äußerst empfindlichen Damm- und Genitalbereich – unangenehme Beschwerden sind die Folge. Ein Entlastungskanal hilft, ist aber nicht der einzige wichtige Faktor.
Für eine gesunde Druckverteilung muss das Zusammenspiel von Sitzknochenabstand und Oberkörperneigung stimmen. Ein ergonomischer Fahrradsattel sollte genügend Auflagefläche haben, den Oberschenkeln aber dennoch Bewegungsfreiheit bieten. Radfahren ist zudem nicht statisch. Bergauf rutscht der Fahrer intuitiv in Richtung Sattelnase, um den Körperschwerpunkt nach vorn zu verlagern. Umgekehrt verhält es sich bergab.
Ergon berücksichtigt all das bei der Entwicklung jedes Sattels. Wir entwickeln spezifische Modelle für jedes Einsatzgebiet, für den Alltagsradler genauso wie für den Profi. Unsere Sättel sind in verschiedenen Breiten erhältlich, für dynamisches Sitzen völlig stufenfrei ausgelegt und ermöglichen durch ihre anatomische Form bequem alle Positionen.

Das Ergon-Entwicklungsteam hat intensiv zum Thema Männergesundheit geforscht. Hauptursache von Beschwerden beim Radfahren ist der Sattel. Bei Männern führt hoher Druck auf den äußerst empfindlichen Dammbereich u.a. zu Taubheitsgefühlen. Hoden und Penis hingegen lösen selten Beschwerden aus, da sie dem Sitzdruck ausweichen können. Der SR Allroad Core Men entlastet das männliche Perineum ideal: Mit MRT- und CT-Analysen, vielen Prototypen und Testfahrern haben wir auch unsere Rennradsättel ergonomisch punktgenau auf Anatomie und Bedürfnisse des Mannes abgestimmt.
Mehr Freiraum den Beinen
Das männliche Becken ist im Vergleich zu Frauen weniger flexibel. Das heißt: Männer sitzen aufrechter auf dem Sattel und beanspruchen die Sitzknochen stärker. Daher kann der Übergangsbereich zwischen Sattelheck und Sattelnase schmal gehalten werden (Y-Form). So haben die Beine mehr Freiraum zum Pedalieren.
Männer sind anders – wir haben’s verstanden
Im Gegensatz zur weiblichen Anatomie stehen bei Männern die Schambeinkufen deutlich steiler zueinander, und die Schambeinfuge (Symphyse) liegt wesentlich höher. Auch diesen maßgeblichen Unterschied zwischen Mann und Frau haben wir bei der Sattelentwicklung berücksichtigt.
