Description
The Ardent Race fills the gap between the Ikon and the Ardent, between fast XC tire and trail tire. Its profile is medium high, the center lugs are tight, but leave enough space for good self-cleaning and are beveled for lower rolling resistance. The side lugs are angled and offset and bite into the ground when cornering. This makes the Ardent Race the right tire for all-round use and on the trails. The Ardent Race is available in all three wheel sizes in 2.20″ width as a Tubeless Ready version with EXO sidewall protection.

Exo Protection
This extremely cut and abrasion resistant material protects the sidewall of various MTB tires. It is very tightly woven, lightweight and very flexible. Thus, the performance of the tires remains unchanged convincingly good.
Tubeless Ready
Tubeless tires have many advantages. Man can drive with less air pressure and thus has better traction, the rolling resistance is lower than with tube, and where there is no tube, the risk of punctures also decreases. MAXXIS TR tires are better prepared for mounting with sealing milk than other tubeless ready tires, because the bead of MAXXIS TR tires is completely covered with a rubber layer as in a real UST tubular tire. Thus, the tubeless mounting is successful with all rims that comply with the standard dimensions, with the first inflation and with little liquid. Also normal MAXXIS MTB tires can be mounted like tires of other manufacturers Tubeless with sealing milk, because the carcass fabric are very dense. Officially released for tubeless assembly and guaranteed by MAXXIS but only the new MAXXIS TR models, the tubeless assembly of other models is at your own responsibility!
