Description
The probably most driven and in recent years the most successful downhill tire in the world. In the Minion DHF proven elements such as beveled lugs for low rolling resistance and great smoothness were combined with longitudinally slotted lugs for more grippy edges. This gives it excellent directional stability and precise cornering. It is the reference for fast trails, from light freeride to hard downhill. The Minion DHF is constantly updated and supplemented with new versions. New are now Enduro versions in all three MTB tire sizes and the Maxxis TR (Tubeless Ready) versions.
3C Maxx Grip: Superior Rennpreformence by three different rubber compounds in different positions in the tread. The base layer provides low rolling resistance and satability of the tread lugs. The compound in the center of the tread provides the best grip on any surface, while the extremely damped compound on the shoulder lugs provides the best possible cornering grip.
EXO+ Protection: The new EXO+ construction combines the two best puncture protection materials: SilkShield and EXO. The SilkShield layer surrounds the entire tire from bead to bead, while the EXO layer is mounted on the sidewalls. Together this gives EXO+ with the following advantages: 27% better puncture protection on the tread, 51% more stable sidewall, 28% more puncture protection compared to the proven stable EXO casing.
Tubeless Ready: Tubeless tires have many advantages: You can ride with less air pressure and thus have better traction.
