Description
The Aggressor is designed for very fast modern mountain bike trails. Advanced lug design gives extra grip edges and reinforced side lugs provide increased stability in fast turns. An all-around trail tire suitable for everything from easy trail to difficult enduro courses.
Tubeless tires have many advantages: You can ride with less air pressure. This gives you better traction and reduces rolling resistance. And where there's no tube, the risk of punctures goes down, too. Maxxis TR tires are better prepared for mounting with sealant than other "Tubeless Ready" tires. The bead of the TR tires is completely covered with a rubber layer, just like a real UST tubeless tire. This makes tubeless mounting on all rims with standard dimensions already successful with the first inflation and with little liquid. Also "normal" Maxxis MTB tires can be mounted tubeless with sealant like tires of other manufacturers, because the carcass fabrics are very dense. Officially approved for tubeless mounting and guaranteed by Maxxis are but only the new Maxxis TR models.
Double Down carcass: These tires are built like the downhill tires of Maxxis. Two layers of carcass, which are reinforced by an insert of butyl. By using 120 TPI carcasses instead of 60 TPI, Double Down tires are significantly lighter than downhill tires.
