Description
The Dissector - Troy Brosnan wanted to create a unicorn of a tire. A tire that rolls insanely fast, mills precisely through corners and decelerates accordingly well when needed. As a starting point for this, the profile of Rekon, Minion DHF and HighRoller II was taken and designed in close collaboration with Troy during the 2018 World Cup season. The DISSECTOR is ideal in the trail version as a rear tire, as a competition tire or in the bike park. The trail version also makes sense as a team with the DH variant on the rear wheel, if you want a light rolling and good grip front tire. Through the Double Down (DD) carcass, the Dissector is also optimally protected against damage to the sidewall.
3C Maxx Terra: The freeride variant of the 3C tires from Maxxis. Significantly more grip and traction through softer compounds, with acceptable rolling resistance, so that you can also still go well up the mountain before the great descent, and long life.
Double Down tires are built like Maxxis downhill tires: two carcass layers reinforced with a butyl insert in the sidewall. By two 120 TPI (instead of 60TPI) carcass plies and aramid bead, however, they are significantly lighter than the downhill tires, much stronger and more robust than TR + EXO tires and thus ideal for tough enduro courses.
