Description
With its completely new tread design, the Minion DHR II is the ideal tire for aggressive gravity riding. With the side lugs of the legendary DHF, which have been slightly widened for even better cornering grip, it has extreme cornering grip. The center lugs have beveled lugs for better acceleration. Notches on the lugs improve transition when turning into corners. Part of the center lugs have a paddle shape, they dig in under hard braking and help keep the bike under control.
3C Maxx Terra: The freeride version of Maxxis' 3C tires. Significantly more grip and traction due to softer compounds, with acceptable rolling resistance, so you can still get a good ride up the mountain before the great descent, and long life.
Exo Protection: This extremely cut and abrasion resistant material protects the sidewall of various MTB tires. It is ser densely woven, lightweight and very flexible. Thus, the performance of the tires remains unchanged convincingly good.
Wide Trail Casing: Maxxis' Wide Trail (WT) construction optimizes the tread layout and tire shape for wider rims. Traditional tires are designed for narrow rims and get a too angular shape on wider rims and therefore no optimal preformance. WT tires are optimized for a rim width of 35mm, but also work for all rims with an inner dimension between 30 - 40 mm.
Tubeless Ready: Tubeless tires have many advantages: You can ride with less air pressure and thus have better traction.
