Maxxis Rekon WT Folding Tire - 27.5x2.60 Inch - 3C MaxxTerra - TR Exo

Description

The Maxxis Rekon is a very voluminous tire that you can use for daily touring, eagerly shredding in the forest and AllMountain, but also copes with detours into rougher terrain. Ideal for the rear wheel! The TR version with EXO sidewall protection is designed to be ridden without an inner tube with sealant, but like all TR tires, can also be ridden with an inner tube. Maxxis WT tires are optimized for rims from 30 mm inner width.

Tubeless tires have many advantages: You can ride with less air pressure. This gives you better traction and reduces rolling resistance. And where there's no tube, the risk of punctures goes down, too. Maxxis TR tires are better prepared for mounting with sealant than other "Tubeless Ready" tires. The bead of the TR tires is completely covered with a rubber layer, just like a real UST tubeless tire. This makes tubeless mounting on all rims with standard dimensions already successful with the first inflation and with little liquid. Also "normal" Maxxis MTB tires can be mounted tubeless with sealant like tires of other manufacturers, because the carcass fabrics are very dense. Officially approved for tubeless mounting and guaranteed by Maxxis are but only the new Maxxis TR models.

3C MaxxTerra is just the right 3C compound for Maxxis' enduro and freeride tires. Smooth uphill, as well as best grip downhill characterize this compound as well as a long life.

The Exo Protection, consisting of extremely cut and abrasion resistant material, protects the sidewall of various MTB tires. It is very tightly woven, lightweight and very flexible. As a result, the performance of the tires remains unchanged convincingly good.

"Grip ohne Ende"
