Description
The Maxxis Rekon is a very voluminous tire that you can use for daily touring, eagerly shredding in the forest and AllMountain, but also copes with detours into rougher terrain. Ideal for the rear wheel! The TR version with EXO sidewall protection is designed to be ridden without an inner tube with sealant, but like all TR tires, can also be ridden with an inner tube.
Maxxis WT tires are optimized from the 2.60 width for rims from 30 mm inside width, but do not have a WT marking on the tire sidewall.
The EXO Protection, consisting of extremely cut and abrasion resistant material, protects the sidewall of various MTB tires. It is very tightly woven, lightweight and very flexible. As a result, the performance of the tires remains unchanged convincingly good.
3C Maxx Terra: The freeride variant of the 3C tires from Maxxis. Significantly more grip and traction due to softer compounds, with acceptable rolling resistance, so that you can still ride well up the mountain before the great descent, and long life.
