With a new specific design derived from our legendary ScorpionTM XC RC, the CinturatoTM Gravel RC is the answer to all your gravel needs: fast on the straights, thanks to minimal lug placement on the central tread, and aggressive in the corners, with higher and more massive lugs that support handling in the corners. Equipped with our TechWALL tubeless carcass construction, it features a reinforced and cut-resistant 60tpi fabric and a bead-to-bead protective layer. The CinturatoTM Gravel RC is designed for the most demanding gravel tracks and for riders seeking the best performance in all racing conditions
GRIP
The properties of the new Pirelli compound formulation SpeedGRIP are tailored to any weather condition, whether the terrain is dry or wet. In the development of the Scorpion ™ MTB rubber formulation
- SmartGRIP - the new SpeedGRIP compound retains the same polymer matrix and improves rolling efficiency. The greater need for speed or mileage with the same effort on gravel, with a combination of asphalt, gravel and aggressive terrain, and a mix of uses - from racing to pack
to adventure - prompted Pirelli engineers to optimize this new rubber for better energy management. The SpeedGRIP compound maintains the same tear resistance as its MTB counterpart (SmartGRIP) and has high chemical grip (also known as wet grip). More efficient energy management reduces rolling resistance to a level very close to that of pure road racing tires.
